The Joshua House of Tampa Bay stands as a sanctuary for abused, abandoned, and neglected children and teens. With a commitment to promoting healing, growth, and empowerment, Joshua House provides a therapeutic shelter with a family-like environment. Boohoff Law and West Coast Cycling were honored to contribute to this mission by donating bikes and helmets, allowing the children to experience the simple joys of childhood while fostering a sense of independence and self-confidence.

Boohoff Law recently supported the Kiwanis Pet Expo in North Port, FL on April 29th, and it was an absolute blast! Our team had a great time networking with our community and taking photos with all of the adorable pets in attendance. The event was a huge success, with many pet owners and animal lovers coming out to enjoy the festivities. From dogs and cats to birds and reptiles, there were all kinds of furry and feathered friends to meet and greet. Boohoff Law was proud to be a part of such a wonderful event, supporting the well-being of animals in the community.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is the nation’s largest nonprofit working to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, and support the victims of this negligent behavior. Every year, their signature fundraising event, Walk Like MADD, raises awareness and funds to help support their mission. By raising awareness about the horrific effects of these crimes, together we can help make our communities safer.

Our firm is a proud supporter of MADD. On March 31st, 2023 the Boohoff Law team attended Walk Like MADD on the beautiful grounds of the University of South Florida in Tampa. During the event, our firm set up a booth and had a team of walkers to help raise awareness. This was an incredible opportunity to pay tribute to the victims and their families affected by drunk and drugged driving with our Tampa community.

What better way to celebrate love than to share it with your local community? To celebrate Valentine’s Day this year, our team decorated, packed, and delivered handmade Valentines to the volunteers and families at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay. Ronald McDonald House Charities is a staple in our community. They provide a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill or injured children. Located just steps away from the Tampa General Hospital Pediatrics Unit, the Ronald McDonald House provides accommodations, meals, and support for families during one of the most difficult times of their lives.

On August 4th, 2022, the Boohoff Law team attended the Annual Back to School Teacher Appreciation Luncheon at Bloomingdale Highschool hosted by Valrico FishHawk Chamber of Commerce. During the event, the firm partnered with local businesses to provide classroom supplies to teachers for the upcoming school year. While enjoying a celebratory lunch, teachers got the chance to hear Wes Lyons, motivational speaker, and former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver, discuss his new book, The Pursuit with Patience. It was an incredible opportunity for the team to spend time with and show appreciation for many impactful educators in the community.

During the investigation of the death of Gabby Petito, Boohoff Law offered a $20,000 reward to any individual who could provide information leading to the location of Brian Laundrie. After Laundrie’s body was discovered by North Port Police Department, the firm pledged to donate the money to North Port Police Officer’s Association.

Boohoff Law is honored to partner with a nonprofit organization whose members have gone above and beyond to improve the lives of local law enforcement and the community.

On November 20, 2020, Boohoff Law hosted the 3rd Annual Turkey Giveaway at the North Port office. The Boohoff Law team passed out 300 FREE turkeys! Every year we look forward to this special day in our firm, and the overflow of gratitude was absolutely heartwarming! We are so thankful to have had an opportunity to give back to a community that has placed so much trust in us throughout the years! It was a wonderful day! We are so proud to be a part of the North Port community!

Boohoff Law paired with ECHO of Brandon (Emergency Care Help Organization), a nonprofit organization that helps those in the community who have found themselves in difficult circumstances. ECHO highlights the importance of neighbors helping neighbors. Throughout the month, Boohoff Law matched donations $1 per $1 raising a total of $4,860 for this impactful organization!
